User-Centered Design
19th century culture was defined by the
novel, 20th century by the cinema, the culture of the 21st century will be
defined by the interface.
Your users are continuously redesigning
your user interface in real time. Users become your co-designers because you
can’t imagine all the ways someone will actually use what you create.
3.
Feedback is the cycle of design
You’d be surprised what clients will tell
you if you just ask. A lack of feedback is rarely a sign that you are on the
right track.
4.
As our concept phase begins to wind down,
we revisit our goals and assumptions to recalibrate and make any needed
changes.
5.
Metrics can tell you what users like and dislike,
but they can’t tell you what they dream about.
